iPhone App Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the native SolventPBM iPhone app, including its Apple in-app subscriptions. Effective October 3, 2026.
This notice summarizes current product practices and is not legal advice. Consult a qualified attorney for advice about your legal rights.
This policy applies only to the native SolventPBM iPhone app. The website and browser-based app have a separate privacy policy.
Scope and app separation
The iPhone app does not require a SolventPBM account. Its plan storage is separate from the browser-based web app and does not sync with web plans. Read the Web App Privacy Policy for the website, browser-based planner, web subscriptions, and iPhone launch-list form.
On-device plan storage
Paychecks, bills, expenses, debts, and budget plans are stored locally on your iPhone. The app does not upload this plan data to SolventPBM, Apple, or RevenueCat. The app’s local plan storage is excluded from iCloud device backups by default. When you export a JSON backup, it stays on your device until you choose where to save or share it. SolventPBM does not receive or inspect backups you share through Files, email, or another app.
Apple subscriptions and RevenueCat
Apple processes App Store subscription transactions. SolventPBM uses RevenueCat to load subscription products, confirm Premium access, and restore purchases. RevenueCat may process an anonymous App User ID, purchase and subscription history, entitlement status, and technical app information needed to operate those features. The app does not provide RevenueCat with a custom user ID, name, or email address. SolventPBM does not receive or store your payment-card details. Purchase information is used for subscription functionality and RevenueCat reporting, not advertising or cross-app tracking. Read Apple’s Privacy Policy and RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy for their data practices.
Analytics and tracking
The iPhone app does not include a native analytics or advertising SDK, does not use the advertising identifier, and does not track you across apps or websites. Website analytics and launch-list processing are described in the separate web policy.
Support email
The app’s support link opens an external email app. The app does not submit or store the message itself. If you choose to send an email, SolventPBM receives the address and message you send so we can reply, and Proton Mail handles messages sent to our support inbox under its Privacy Policy. Please do not include sensitive financial information unless it is necessary for support.
Changes to this policy
If the iOS app’s data practices change, this page will be updated before or when the change is released. The effective date at the top will show when the policy was last revised.
